It's inexpensive and easy to find at pharmacies and health food stores, usually in the form of capsules or loose powder. You can mix it with your face cleanser for a deep cleanse or use with other ingredients to create simple, effective facial treatments.

In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel with the content of 1 capsule of activated charcoal until it creates a smooth paste. Apply to the face avoiding the eye area. Keep the mask on the skin for 15 minutes and then rinse off completely. Repeat twice a week for optimal results.
